Welcome to TFD’s 2026-2027 Season!

It's a year of intercultural exchange, artistic development, curatorial experimentation, and community learning! From North York, to South Etobicoke, and downtown Toronto - you're invited to be a part of TOES FOR DANCE's most ambitious and exciting season yet.

Our newly rebranded Lakeshore Dance Series builds on our Process+Practice programming at Assembly Hall, offering family-friendly opportunities to discover and enjoy dance as well as a fully-realized performance series that illustrates the arc of the choreographic process. We'll take a breather from producing a full-scale festival and instead host Common Ground Dance Days at Lee Lifeson Art Park; including dance education and cross-cultural collaboration activities that foster understanding and solidarity between communities. For youth, our Fresh Dance Intensive program continues to provide a non-competitive space for student dancers to explore their artistry through a variety of styles with acclaimed faculty members.

Our 2026-27 Season also includes the launch of several new artistic development initiatives including Engaging in Repertoire, Intercultural Collaboration, and Creative Access residency programs, in addition to our ongoing Process+Practice Residency. Furthermore, our Creative Communities Consultation is just getting started!

Your presence will bring the magic. The dance is waiting to emerge! See you there? We can't wait to welcome you!

This page will be updated as more programming is confirmed throughout the season.
